There's a time and place for everything. In Paris, one should spend sunny days having picnics in the park and drinking wine beside the Seine. But in February weather like this, when you look outside at the fourth day in a row of rain, you know it's a day to cuddle up and read a good book. Luckily for you, the American Library of Paris is having their monthly book sale this weekend, where you can stock up on English-language books and DVDs for between 1€-3€. It's great (and cheap) opportunity to grab some pages to read at home or beneath the warming glow of a café's heaters (which I do as a disguise to people-watching and eavesdropping).

Um, why I haven't been following your blog earlier is beyond me; from your first page alone there are three things I'll be doing this week! Consider parischeapskate.com bookmarked! Anywho, I came over from The Paris Blog to drop you a comment to say thanks for this particular post... I missed the sale this weekend but I'll be there with an empty canvas tote bag to fill next month! Cheers, Lou xx
