Is it possible, there is a music festival in Paris in FEBRUARY? Here I thought we were all supposed to huddle up in bars drinking whiskey and complaining about the weather. But no, for the second year in a row, the Fireworks! Festival seeks to highlight the best and brightest in today's independent music scene, from folk to "flamboyant rock" to experimental electronica. You can see up-and-coming acts like psychedelic Parisienne Melody's Echo Chamber, fresh rock popper Petit Noir, or my personal twee favorites, We Were Evergreen. A DJ set featuring SBTRKT and Blackjoy has already been sold out, so you'd better hurry and get your tickets now while you still can.
